Desert National Wildlife Refuge

The Desert National Wildlife Refuge is the largest wildlife refuge outside Alaska, protecting 1.6 million acres of the diverse Mojave Desert in southern Nevada. This vast refuge showcases six major mountain ranges and provides critical habitat for the desert bighorn sheep and numerous desert-adapted species.
